Too many people overthink these situations. Don’t even mark the ball. Walk up and tap it in without thinking at all. Just like you would with a bogey or double bogey putt This putt is no different than those. You have probably made 1000 of these putts.
Are you making your playing partner putt out or is this a gimmie in this situation 🧐 ⛳️

There is an incredibly thin line between your best golf and below average golf. A few more missed GIR combined with not getting up down and speed control on putts being subpar Didn’t lose a ball all day even with striking ball worse today so that’s a positive takeaway
Pretty damn good day. My best round ever from the tips. Driver and irons on point most of the day except for 3 or 4 shots. Lag putting was spectacular Missed 3 birdie putts inside 10 feet but made 3 pars and a huge bogey putt between 4-6 feet. Absolute grind out there.

Rory is way too sensitive He hits a poor shot and a fan said “nice shot”, according to the featured groups announcer. Rory points the guy out to security and has him escorted out If that is truly all that guy said… man. Rory has to relax

Some clarification here Thank you for this info about the fan not being escorted out. Still kinda crazy that anything happened to the fan. Even a warning. It’s mild chirping

I was standing right there. The guy was not escorted out but was warned for his sarcastic comment

Getting a little better. Needs a lot of repetitions as I head into competition season
I have been dealing with the pulls really bad recently. Can’t figure out why Then I looked at these shots Shoulders and hips are much less open at impact on the right (range) vs course (left) On the course my body is doing everything in its power to square the club face

AI could be really good at diagnosing swing faults and giving swing advice However it will need a ton of data from millions of different golfers. This way it can learn from different swing tendencies and styles. Without it, it will just teach one single perfect *looking* swing
Is there a future where instead of golf teachers, we use AI to coach us? Bryson was struggling. Couldn’t find it in the dirt. He then used AI to diagnose his swing and fired a 65! In theory, AI should diagnose swing faults with precision, correct?

Is this your thing? Film every shot. Early walk every putt. Make many double bogeys? Just want to clarify before I never follow you…

This might be one of my best early walk ins.l for birdie Don’t mind my pissed off face. I made 2 doubles in a row right before this 😂

I used to do this a lot before my home course added digital yardages You don’t need to be a certain level of player. All you want to know is how far the ball is going How do you plan to do that without knowing how far it is?
How good do you have to be to pull out your laser on the range to get exact distances? I think if you’re not a competitive tour player this is insane behavior?

Played a quick round l after work. I hit the ball so poorly that I stopped playing, went to the driving range and deleted 50 balls. Did it help? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Did I feel better? Yes

I saw the photo of me at the top of my swing at Elmwood. The position looked all sort of whacky So had to work on some pivot and back swing before my round today. Also, I need to practice more in general so those old habits stay away

FYI: I still do the exact same drills @ryanmouquegolf taught me 3 years ago The same 3 drills. Year after year after year. No need to hop around to 5, 8, 10 different drills.

Call it a Par 4, Par 5, or Par 7 for all I care It doesn’t matter at all because everyone plays the same hole. The only thing that matters is the score you write down
At 546 yards, the 15th hole at Aronimink will play as the longest par-4 on the scorecard in major championship history. Just how long is it? Getting reports that Bryson DeChambeau just took a headcover off for his second shot into the green.
