The Commissioner spoke today with the Department for Communities Committee about difficulties with the process for the Ulster-Scots language, heritage and culture strategy and how these can be resolved.

Belfast Book Festival is back from 4th - 11th June 2026, showcasing the very best of Northern Ireland's literary talent 📚
The festival, run by the Crescent Arts Centre and supported by the Arts Council, will host a series of conversations, workshops and events suited to people of all ages and experiences - from storytelling for toddlers, to panel discussions with non-fiction authors, a poetry slam event, and a literary themed quiz.
