Our Tanzania team is making great progress with IGUWASA đź’§ 20 out of 80 new smart taps have been installed, with more scoping underway. We were also glad to host MD. Alexander E. Ntonge and his team to see the taps in action!

Big news from Tanzania! We’ve signed a new contract with IGUWASA, expanding eWATER’s services in and around Igunga Town.  With 715 smart taps across 81 villages, Tanzania is our largest country system 🔥

eWATER held a public participation forum in Kajire with the County Government of Taita Taveta. Over 150 residents engaged with our smart tap model and voted in favour of service expansion to the locality. We’re proud to move toward supplying clean water to 3700 residents 💧

In December, we were fortunate to be supported for a day by Newton Impact’s brilliant digital consultants during a hackathon in London.  Together, we analysed data from 1,191 smart taps serving 315K people and built practical tools to improve how we plan, & manage water systems.
