Recently, Year 9iSTEM and 9E Science took a trip to the Optus Earth Satellite Station in Belrose NSW. Students were shown a range of stem activities from Fizzics Education, a Science outreach company who explain difficult STEM concepts, including satellites and rockets, in how they assist our everyday lives. Our students then also attended the satellite farms and control centres where signals are sent and received for our television programs such as Foxtel, ABC, OptusSport, and more.
