We partner with founders and emerging managers before consensus forms, with a focus on infrastructure, application-layer opportunities, cross-border markets, and institutional capital formation. The Role Inception Capital is seeking a Marketing & Operations Intern to support content operations, event execution, ecosystem growth, and platform workflows. The intern will work closely with the team on projects that help strengthen Inception’s presence across founders, LPs, GPs, ecosystem partners, and the broader market. Emerging markets teach you to care about infrastructure differently. @davidgan1818 's perspective on financial systems was shaped not only as an investor, but as an operator—including his time at @HuobiGlobal, where he helped expand the business across multiple countries. That experience matters. When you’ve seen financial access, market structure, and user behavior vary country by country, you underwrite very differently. At Inception, that’s core to how we think: back teams building financial infrastructure that works under real-world constraints, not just in idealized markets.

As we wrap up this week’s interview process for the @_inceptioncap Research Intern Program, we’ve been encouraged by the quality of applicants coming through. The strongest candidates continue to stand out for their curiosity, writing ability, and genuine interest in venture, emerging markets, AI and deep tech. This process has also reinforced our view that venture is learned best through proximity - which is why we are continuing to shape the program as a highly in-person experience centered in New York. A great discussion at @CapSummitGlobal around one of the most important shifts in the market: the stablecoin conversation is moving from “should institutions engage?” to “how does this get integrated into real financial workflows?” At this stage, trust, regulation, interoperability, and operational reliability matter more than narrative. We’re looking for Investment Research Interns at Inception Capital, a New York-based first-check venture firm with a focus on early-stage emerging markets opportunities across crypto, deep tech, AI, and other adjacent verticals. Our internship program has a strong track record: past interns have gone on to join or found leading firms across the industry. In this role, you’ll get hands-on exposure across investment workflows, market analysis, and founder-facing insights — all at the intersection of AI, deep tech, and crypto.
