@UW_Football long snapper
@_keanryan made the trip to Eau Claire, WI to chase perfection!
Ryan and I focused on balancing his hands throughout the throw. His right hand was scooping up through the ball at the finish, which led to inconsistent results. Some snaps had a clean spiral, while others would pull off target or come out with a wobble. By creating better balance between his hands, we were able to clean up his ball flight and improve consistency.
From there, we turned our attention to efficiency. Ryan was naturally very quick and twitchy, but that speed was causing him to rush parts of the movement. We worked on creating a better body-before-ball sequence, allowing his body to lead and his hands to follow. The result was a smoother, more efficient snap that required less effort while maintaining the same ball speed.
Ryan did a great job picking up the adjustments and applying them right away. I’m excited to continue helping him chase perfection as he heads into his final season of college football!
