Manufacturing brain: going about your daily life, then seeing an interesting piece of equipment and needing to know who designs it and where it’s made Recent examples: playground equipment, gas station pumps A common affliction among @reindsummit attendees I’d imagine 🏭

Ok but wouldn’t it be brilliant if Jaguar let everyone freak out for one more day and then went “just kidding, here’s the real rebrand”

Shout out to the gate agents that know your carry on won’t fit in the arbitrary baggage sizer but will fit in the overhead bin, so they just let you on the flight. The real MVPs 👌🏼

I’m obviously biased, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen an industry collectively talk down to its customers the way agency owners like to talk down to CMOs 🤔

I’ve been posting on LinkedIn regularly since 2019. Never been asked to partner with a brand. Until 2023. I’ve been asked by 3 brands in the last 90 days. Interesting shift going on 👀

This is an excellent thread about product mgmt “best practices” and how people take them too seriously. All the same first principles apply in marketing.
I’m going to share with you all something I shared with someone on an advisory call this week: Stop rewarding the academic theater of PM best practices. I’m tired of folks thinking you put insights into a magical PM framework and a great business spits out the other end.

Some of the TikTok influencer ads I’ve seen are scary good. Especially when the creator is known for a particular format. Guarantee that 50% of people don’t even realize they’re ads sometimes.
