Really saddened that only 334 people in the entire world have donated to save the rescued Boars. Their home in Wales is up for sale and we must buy it. (DEFRA has restrictions on their location) they suffered appalling cruelty and their fate is in jeopardy.. please donate ‼️👇🐷

If memory serves, the number of elephants born in zoos does not exceed the number that die in zoos. Please correct me #zooindustry. But, if I’m right, then clearly the odd captive birth is not a ‘sign of hope’. Protecting, conserving species in their wild habitats is real.

Whipsnade Zoo has announced the birth of an endangered Asian elephant, calling it “real hope for the future”. But for Born Free, this is no cause for celebration. Another calf born into captivity reminds us of Pole Pole, who died at London Zoo in 1983.

One of the earliest designs for a bridge across the Avon Gorge was submitted by William Bridges in 1793.
This extraordinary proposal, which would’ve featured around 40 homes, a pub, gallery and chapel was intended to pay for itself via rents and tolls to cross the gorge.

Yep the River Avon at Salisbury was designated as a bathing spot on 15th May and just 13 days later on the 28th the EA have to issue a pollution warning due to E. coli levels. What a shambles.
