Mining diamonds from the ground is one of the most destructive things we do for luxury. So, we created a way to make diamonds from the sky instead - using just four ingredients: the sun, the wind, the rain and atmospheric carbon, something we have too much of. Making diamonds from the Sky is 21st Century alchemy. We turn something we have too much of into something beautiful. These are real diamonds made without the environment and human destruction. It's Bling without the Sting. Nile got that straight away. He’s passionate about sustainability and doing things differently. This collaboration is mix of great music, iconic design and luxury that doesn’t cost the Earth. vogue.co.uk/article/article/…

.@AndyBurnhamGM Kevin from Rochdale has a question on floating bus stops in cycle lanes. He has raised concerns about these designs which are not safe or accessible for blind people in Greater Manchester since 2018, all which have been ignored. He wants an answer please.

Really saddened that only 334 people in the entire world have donated to save the rescued Boars. Their home in Wales is up for sale and we must buy it. (DEFRA has restrictions on their location) they suffered appalling cruelty and their fate is in jeopardy.. please donate ‼️👇🐷
Barney, Chunk, Rambo & Brandon relaxing in their barn. This Barn has been the first place they could ever call home & feel safe. It's kept them safe for 6 years but now it's being sold. We must buy it to keep the boars safe for the rest of their lives🙏 donorbox.org/gandalf-needs-h…

EMI, Cliff Richard’s label since 1958, refused to release “The Millennium Prayer” as a single, believing it did not have commercial potential. So Cliff took the song to independent label Papillon. The profits went to the charity Children’s Promise. #TOTP

If memory serves, the number of elephants born in zoos does not exceed the number that die in zoos. Please correct me #zooindustry. But, if I’m right, then clearly the odd captive birth is not a ‘sign of hope’. Protecting, conserving species in their wild habitats is real.

Whipsnade Zoo has announced the birth of an endangered Asian elephant, calling it “real hope for the future”. But for Born Free, this is no cause for celebration. Another calf born into captivity reminds us of Pole Pole, who died at London Zoo in 1983. 👉 bit.ly/4efdqmP

AI isn't the revolution you think it is. There is a specific purpose behind it - it's to drive your critical thinking skills down, it's also to make you ignorant and lazy. They're selling you this stuff and they know what it's going to do to the population. Think about it.

🚨 HUMILIATION AT THE WORLD CUP: SENEGAL STARS TREATED LIKE CRIMINALS BY US BORDER THUGS Senegal 🇸🇳 national team arrives in the US for #WorldCup2026 — and what do they get? US authorities pulling them off the plane for aggressive bag searches, invasive checks, and public degradation right on the tarmac. Top African football giants disrespected like suspects. This is not "security." This is racist arrogance from the host nation that lectures the world on fairness while treating African players like second-class humans. Same America blocking referees, humiliating teams, and showing its true face to the Global South. Senegal, Africa is with you. CAF and FIFA — speak up or remain useless puppets. The World Cup belongs to the world, not to US ego and discrimination. Expose this disgrace. Share widely.

One of the earliest designs for a bridge across the Avon Gorge was submitted by William Bridges in 1793. This extraordinary proposal, which would’ve featured around 40 homes, a pub, gallery and chapel was intended to pay for itself via rents and tolls to cross the gorge.

🚨 WORST @FIFAcom PRESIDENT OF ALL TIME: INFANTINO SILENT AS US HUMILIATES AFRICA Gianni Infantino selected Omar Abdulkadir Artan — Africa's top referee and first Somali at a World Cup — then watched US authorities deny him entry at the border despite diplomatic passport and approved visa. Turned back like trash. No reason. No fight. Where is your voice, Infantino? You preach "global football" and "unity" while selling out African officials to US border politics. This isn't leadership — it's cowardice and betrayal of the game. You are proving every day why you are the worst FIFA president in history. Africa will not forget this disgrace. Stand up or step down.

"Southern Water apologises after Winchester milestone removed." So there's a mile stone on the Andover Road just outside Winchester, it's been there for 100s of years, guess who digs it up and then dumps it along with a load of other building waste in the local landfill? Yep, step forward Southern Water. hampshirechronicle.co.uk/new…

"Picturesque river polluted with sewage just 13 days after being given official bathing status." Yep the River Avon at Salisbury was designated as a bathing spot on 15th May and just 13 days later on the 28th the EA have to issue a pollution warning due to E. coli levels. What a shambles. independent.co.uk/news/uk/ho…

The song “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing” was written by Roger Cook and Roger Greenaway in their small Park Street studio. Both were born in Fishponds, Bristol. Originally named “True Love and Apple Pie” it was later rewritten and featured in an iconic 1971 Coca Cola advert.
