We didn't move on. We are living with the dread that could it easily be any one of us. You can already sense the prejudice and tension in the air against certain groups. The dread could burst the bubble/false quiet if nothing is done to put a definite end to terrorism in Nigeria

I don't know whether United are serious about Christos Tzolis but here is what I think about him. He is ready for the step up although a move to a mid-table club like Aston Villa or Crystal Palace would make perfect sense than joining United. But looking at the quality he possesses plus experience in the champions league, as a back up to Cunha he would provide Invaluable depth. He’s evolved massively since his Norwich days. His output this season is ridiculous—16 goals and 19 assists. Ignore the 'league tax' skeptics those numbers are elite. Profile wise He’s not a pure 1v1 touchline winger who isolates defenders but he is not a wingfielder either, he’s an inverted forward who uses evasive dribbling and smart angles to cut inside onto his lethal right foot. His vision is top-tier, and his defensive work rate and pressing have improved out of all recognition. To cut it in the Premier League, he still needs to build up his physicality for tight duels, avoid drifting out of games, and add some unpredictability so fullbacks can't just park on his right foot. Bottom line at £30m, he’s an absolute steal for any PL or Bundesliga side wanting low-risk, high-return depth.

Yes United will be saving £9m from the severance compensation owed to Amorim. This is because of the duty to mitigate in football. When United dismissed Amorim, they owed him and his staff compensation for the rest of their contracts. Most people assume that figure is fixed, that a sacked manager simply collects what he was promised in full. Well that’s true but in practice, the law does not work that way. Now, according to the FIFA RSTP, the injured party is owed compensation, broadly the residual value of the contract that was cut short. But that party must take reasonable steps to reduce his own losses. He cannot sit idle and bank the entire payout while doing nothing. He is expected to find new employment, and whatever he earns from that new role over the overlapping period is deducted from what his former club owes. So the moment Amorim agreed terms with AC Milan, the maths shifted. Every pound Milan pays him across the overlapping period is a pound United no longer has to. That is exactly why the saving lands around the £8 to £9 million mark. So in practice, if United owed Amorim 18m at the point of dismissal for example, and Amorim signed a 9m contract with Milan, the 9m Amorim is earning from Milan would be deducted from the 18m United has to pay him. Do you get it? This is why clubs quietly want their sacked managers to land somewhere new quickly. It is not goodwill. It is accounting. A dismissed coach who stays unemployed is the most expensive kind. While Article 17 sits within the RSTP and applies most directly to players, the same mitigation logic governs coaching disputes, whether through the Football Tribunal, the relevant annexe of the regulations, or ordinary employment law principles. From Mali to Burkina Faso to Niger to Zamfara, Katsina and the Chad basin, these bikes have proven to be the primary modes of mobility for bandits, terrorists and other criminal groups. A political leader buying and sharing them in such huge numbers shows one not in touch with our security realities. If possible, these bikes should be banned as they've proven to be threats to our national security..

This job wey NDC give Theo go really hard am. 😂 Oshiomole claimed that insecurity under Peter Obi was high in Anambra because of the presence of Bakassi boys. As the media communicator of the NDC, Theo was expected to debunk the propaganda and sell Peter Obi's track records in security. Instead, the guy started going round, speaking grammar and beating around the bush with sprinkles of NDC. As the guy failed to make the defense, Obidients rolled up their sleeves and immediately thrashed the propaganda by themselves. I'm just finding out now that the Bakassi ended in 2002, under Mbadinuju's tenure. And after Peter Obi's crackdown on criminality, the Nigeria Police declared Anambra the safest state in Nigeria. Obidients no dey gree ooo

Coping with the systematic collapse of our institutions. When the controversy surrounding the removal of former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, unfolded, I expressed a concern to a friend: that the greatest damage might not be immediate, but the message it sends about the sanctity and independence of our institutions to the world. Strong economies are built on trust. Investors can manage security risks, policy risks, and even market risks. What they fear most is uncertainty in the rule of law and a judiciary that is perceived to be vulnerable to political pressure. Today, many Nigerians have lost confidence in systems that should protect them. Businesses increasingly request that their contracts be governed by foreign jurisdictions because they have greater confidence in those institutions than in our own. That should concern every patriot. We must never sacrifice our sacred institutions on the altar of politics. Nations rise when institutions are stronger than individuals. "The federal High Court Judgement ordering the de-registration of the ADC and other political parties is just one of those activities that further reduces the common man's trust in our legal systems" it should be reversed. I pledge that we will restore the dignity, independence, and integrity of the Judiciary. The common man must have a voice. The business community must be protected from legal uncertainty and intimidation. Justice must be impartial, accessible, and respected by all. To our judges, legal luminaries, senior advocates, and lawyers: this is your moment. Rise, defend the rule of law, take back your country! A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
