Hello Concealers! Time for our Bi-Weekly Dev Update! 🚀 A lot has happened over the last few weeks, and we have some exciting progress to share. First, we are thrilled to welcome back .@_nullcrypto to the development team. Hats off to him for working relentlessly to push Conceal into the stratosphere as a pioneer in the crypto privacy space. Here is what the team has been working on to improve the ecosystem: - Conceal-Core 6.7.4 is now officially released, squashing a few bugs and bringing various under-the-hood improvements. - A massive backend rewrite by nullcrypto restructures our data with MDBX and enables sidechains for Conceal while staying strictly true to our privacy standards. - You can review the technical details of the upcoming MDBX update here: github.com/nullcryptodev/con… - Conceal-Desktop 6.7.4 is currently in the testing phase, so please join the beta testers to be part of the revolution. - A brand new front end for the Conceal Community pool is in the works, huge thanks to БОМБ ОН. Please make sure to update your core software when you can. As always, we will not stop building until we achieve complete autonomy over our digital lives! 🛡️

Me realizing Nightmare Eclipse dropped another zero-day PoC after Microsoft threatened to report security researchers to law enforcement.
‼️🚨 He's back: Nightmare Eclipse just dropped RoguePlanet, a new Windows Defender local privilege escalation 0day PoC. The RCE paths broke after Microsoft's Defender patch. NE suspects the BitLocker bypass may still work but isn't certain. He has a new GitHub btw, let's see how long the account will last: github.com/MSNightmare/Rogue…

Ubuntu Core 26 introduces a Chisel-based build system with explicit, traceable dependencies, where every file can be attributed to its source package. This improves integrity checks and trims base image size by 7%. What is Ubuntu Core? Ubuntu Core is a minimal, secure, and strictly confined operating system powering devices around the world. Ubuntu Core 26 has arrived, discover what's new: canonical.com/blog/canonical… #OpenSource #Canonical #UbuntuCore26

This is the pathetic state of 'social' media. You are not conversing with someone anymore. You are being farmed with ai bots for engagement metrics and 'growth'. Hey @alexabelonix, facts!

Ada is so dumb, how have I got funds locked with no indication that they're locked apart from when I try to do anything I get "not enough ada"... this is why ada will never be $3 because why would I need like $50 to do something. Honestly the stupidest thing

We're at the point where the Telegraph are literally making up quotes. I said when veg is sold for pennies in supermarkets, it's a sign someone's not being paid properly. Farmers being paid a pittance for their produce. Workers on less than a living wage in supermarkets.

Made this post 20 days ago, back then you could still buy 100k $surf for 17k $ada, now its 65k $ada. Last year this time 100k $strike was 20k $ada, now it's 700k. Patience.

Same old $ADA - “We don’t even need taptools” “if they’re not surviving without the treasury then let them go” Hosky making fun of them instantly obviously. Whilst all the founding entities still ask for 10s - 100s of millions every year to do exactly that. If you think this is anything but tragic you are genuinely an imbecile.

Here's Google's Verily explaining the Debug project: the why behind the mosquitoes and the tech that makes it work.
❗️ Google wants to release up to 64 million male mosquitoes in Florida and California, infected with a bacteria that makes them mate with wild females and produce eggs that never hatch. The plan comes from Verily's "Debug" project. The released males carry Wolbachia, a naturally occurring bacteria (not genetic engineering). Males don't bite, so the releases shouldn't add to the biting. But when they mate with wild females, the eggs fail to hatch, suppressing the population over time. The scale: up to 16 million males per state each year, for two years. That's up to 64 million total across both states. The EPA is reviewing the experimental use permit and has flagged it as potentially of "regional and national significance," which is why it opened public comment. The technique isn't new. Wolbachia-based control has been trialed for years, and the Florida Keys Mosquito Control District is already testing a similar approach.
