Some news: This has been my first week as Senior Devrel Engineer at @movementlabsxyz. Going through all the onboarding getting to know folks this week but I'm super excited to dive in and start building with yall on movement. Excited especially to be working with folks like @rushimanche @coopsmoves @bhenhsi and the rest of the movement team. Why this move? The Move Programming language was originally developed by Facebook's Libra Project, which was created to build smart contracts on its blockchain platform. The move language was designed to address the unique challenges of blockchain development, such as security, efficiency, and scalability. It was built by a team that needed all of this from the get-go, considering the behemoth that is Facebook. It's time to really innovate on top of Ethereum with new VM's and build for a secure and scalable onchain future. I'm super excited to be diving into Move with yall and will be sharing tons of learning resources in the coming weeks. I'm also really excited to see what folks end up building here and how I can help enable you to reach whatever goals you may have.
