I'm very excited and lucky to be a part of this team. More on whole-brain networks for rodent reaching/grasping coming soon!

1/ Six years in the making! Our preprint on SORDINO fMRI is out. We're sharing the raw data and sequence to facilitate brain-wide mapping in awake, behaving rodents. If this could be useful to your colleagues and friends, please help spread the word! biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

#RCPNeuroMod is a wrap. So many feelings. One is that I was blown away by the attendees engagement. Really thought hard and deep. Two, is the @knowinnovation team was absolutely essential for the success of this meeting.

So excited to be a part of the @Raynorproject. Ambitious attempt to change therapies for cerebellar disorders and perhaps how we do team science. Let's go.

Hi friends, we are trying to raise some money for our friend Carolina and her mother Maria who just had a large brain tumor removed. Any amount helps and would be beyond appreciated. Stay safe out there! gofund.me/f78bc139

I may be biased, but this is a fantastic opportunity
Are you interested in discovering how the brain controls movements? Do you want to do rigorous behavioral experiments combined with neurophysiology? Would you like to work with these beautiful, gentle animals? Do you have excellent computational skills? Please email me your CV.

Really amazing systems neuro work by Harry, Ian, and co. with some really clear results - Calcium fMRI to investigate the DMN in the rodent. Really excited to have these folks at UNC

Curious about the neural circuit mechanisms underlying the #defaultmodenetwork? A preprint from @TzuHaoHarryChao, @LiMingHsu2 at @ShihYYI’s lab and @ByeongwookL at Vinod Menon’s lab @StanfordPSY used #fiberphotometry and #fMRI to shed light on this topic: biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

Multi-state models have been popular in motor learning for some time. Here we investigated ways that processes with different learning timescales might be differentially expressed across movement phases. I had such a great time working with Simon and Reza on this.
Replying to @reziliusReza
Here, Simon Orozco & @_scottalbert find potential signatures of these processes during saccades. A fast process learns to steer the eyes during the deceleration period, whereas a slower process adapts the acceleration period commands. journals.plos.org/ploscompbi…

Hello world. I'm talking tomorrow (1130am EST) about how interactions between implicit and explicit systems can promote saturation in implicit learning. Here is a link if you're interested (password protected so message me if you're thinking about coming): newcastleuniversity.zoom.us/…
