I joined @NPR's @npratc and Consider This podcast to talk about ISKP and the foiled attacks targeting Taylor Swift concerts in Vienna Far from having the answers, I'm afraid I raised more questions about what we think we know about IS and ISKP npr.org/2024/08/09/119891303…

It's always a delight to talk to the great @arochamenocal about thinking politically and working differently. (Separately, the @TWP_Community substack is an excellent round-up on governance and related issues. Highly recommend twpcop.substack.com/)

I am delighted to have reviewed a new volume on the civilian protective agency for @CivilWarsUK. It's the book I wished I had when doing my PhD, and each chapter brings a new perspective to how people protect themselves in impossible situations tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.…
