Charlie laughed. The co-host laughed. The crowd laughed. The murder of 400,000 people, and they think it’s hilarious. Now leftists make jokes about 1 man and its end of the world. Hypocrites.

Steven Pinker (@sapinker ), a critic of Harvard in the past, brings some perspective to the recent attacks on the university, and on science and education more broadly. "And if you’re still skeptical that universities are worth supporting, consider these questions: Do you think that the number of children who die every year from cancer is just about right? Are you content with your current chance of developing Alzheimer’s disease? Do you feel our current understanding of which government policies are effective and which ones are wasteful is perfect? Are you happy with the way the climate is going, given our current energy technology?” A link to the article is in my next post

An economic tidbit.
American exports *increase* when universities educate international students. In 2024, the US exported over $50B in education services --comparable to motor vehicle exports. If the US wants to reduce its trade deficit, it is counterproductive to ban international students.

Meet 25-year old U.S. Citizen Leonardo Garcia Venegas These are Trump’s ICE agents attacking him and detaining him. They took his REAL ID and told him it was fake. Turns out he is a U.S. Citizen. These guys are monsters.

Gas @ the pump costs more in early Apr than in Aug 2024. Lag in gas $$ occurs in days in a normal mkt. Tariffs will keep prices higher than normal. Prices will increase for clothes, shoes, fruits, vegetables, cars, auto parts, tech, accessories, toys, wine, beer, soap, toothpaste
PAYNE: "What we're not talking about is, oil was $76, now it's $65. Gasoline prices are going to plummet."

X has suffered a security incident in which 201,077,588 email addresses were exposed & subsequently shared on the deep web forum BreachForums. This concerns me more than usual bc the same man who owns X & his minions now has access to personal information on my government accts.
