Narges Mohammadi’s life is in danger and she must be released immediately! Narges is a brave and inspiring Iranian woman who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2023 and was violently detained on December 12 of last year. For years, she has been persecuted for her tireless work in favor of a free and democratic society, and today her family fears for her serious health condition in prison. We have been informed of the brutal conditions under which she is being held. Her condition worsened after she was transferred to a prison in the city of Zanjan, where other inmates convicted of homicide and aggravated assault are also being held. Her family is deeply concerned because she was found unconscious in her bed in the ward, and reports indicate that she may have suffered a heart attack. They fear this may be part of a plan to let her die in prison. Despite the efforts of her lawyers and relatives, the authorities in Zanjan deny any responsibility, claiming that the Intelligence Ministry has forced them to keep her in these conditions. Ms. Mohammadi was awarded the prize for her fight against the oppression of women in Iran and her fight to promote human rights and freedom for all.
