Yesteday I managed to use Fable just once before the government blocked it. I used it to analyze a huge fuzzy database from one of my business, and draw me a logic strategy from the information it synthetized. It performed splendid. It was mindblowing. Never any other model I ever used come even close to what it did. Today I went to use it again (since this single use yesterday ate all my credits from my Pro subscription). But it was offline. The American government ordered Anthropic to shut down the model since it was too powerful for common citizens. The problem is that every SOTA model delivered either by Anthropic, Gemini or so on will be equal or more powerful than Fable. Will the government block ALL of them for the common citizens, granting that only the government has monopoly over AI? When I criticized the EU government and its ingerence, treating people like cattle, it does not mean I am in favour of the US. In fact, essentially, both share the same substance: Bureaucrats who only purpose is to consolidate their own power. For them, you, the citizen, is a mere cattle. To be milked for taxes. And when you cannot get milked anymore, they will want to slaughter you. The government is not there to make your life better. IF at some points they make something good for you, it is a mere accident from their original purpose. To keep themselves in power - concentrating more power... over you. The cattle.
