I would probably pay for Twitter Blue for paywall access to premium content linked on the platform. @elonmusk focus on revenue and lead generation for vetted publishers to improve the content quality and create value for subscribers.

2/ Learn from mistakes of other Big Tech and create the Open Web platform for publishers to generate traffic back to their own websites (not the walled garden of Apple News and Facebook IA). Google owns Search, Twitter could own (public) Social traffic generation.

3/ Create value for Influencers as well to generate content and traffic to Publishers, so your top 5% of users are generating quality content for 95% who want signal and less noise

I for one am pretty excited to trial #applenews in Australia. I’ve just followed about 30 brands I would never pay for individually but keen to access for one subscription. @newscorpaus you could sell your content a little better though

Having spent years in a past life trying to get print content into Newsstand, I’m liking the integration of full page print ads side by side with scrolling digital articles. Good balance for advertisers and readers.
