They come with the TABLE. In my land, hospitality is a debt. Every gift creates an obligation, weighed carefully, returned in the proper season with interest of feeling. Here, the gift arrives before you have even proven you can pay for dinner.
This is not an appetizer. This is a declaration: we trust you. Eat.
I ate with the gravity the moment deserved. And then — I must report this calmly — the basket emptied, and a new one appeared.

Too late. I had accepted three baskets. Honor demanded each one be finished — an unfinished gift is an insult. By the time my actual food arrived, I was a ruined man.

I know the rule now. I have made my peace with the basket. One basket. Two at the most.
Who am I deceiving. There is no number of baskets I would refuse. The trust of a nation is in that salsa, and I intend to honor all of it.

I’m going to be 100% honest, idgaf about the sign stealing. That was 100% because the NCAA refused to let coaches continue to talk to their QBs in the huddle, so it was only a matter of time before a team figured out how to steal signs.

You can’t really fault Texas Tech. They did what every single team would do. They invested heavily in Sorsby. Their other option is coming off a big injury. It was either this or punt on the season.

Brendan Sorsby shouldn’t be eligible.
But schools / leagues exploring not playing or scheduling Texas Tech because of it is a loser mentality.

A surprise: Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby has been granted the injunction he requested by a judge in District Court in Lubbock County, Texas, per @PeteThamel.
Sorsby is now expected to be eligible for the 2026 college football season and will not have to enter the NFL Supplemental Draft.
