Whilst ramping decreased last month this still saw nearly 3,000 hrs lost. This is the RAH today (12/11). There must be further improvements to flow, mental health and off-load procedures on top of additional beds to ensure ambulances are free to respond to the community.

Last night SAAS declared OPSTAT White with up to 54 ambulances ramped across Adelaide, 17 ramped at FMC alone, some for over 7 hours. Despite this risk to our community, SA Health is set to end the Statewide Code Yellow tomorrow, despite our calls for it to continue.

In July ambulances spent over 5,550hrs stuck on hospital ramps, the worst ever on record. This is completely unacceptable & must be a moment for the Government to stop & reassess all actions they are taking to fix ramping. Full release at aeasa.com.au.

This is the fifth new or rebuilt ambulance station to open since we came into Government in 2022. This new Norwood ambulance station addresses a critical coverage gap in the city fringe suburbs - which were diverting crews away from their local areas.
