Check out my exhibit at the Adamson Estate Museum in Mississauga. A History Exposed is the first national exhibit on slavery in Canada. The Adamson stop will be the only one in the GTA. This exhibit goes on a four-year tour across Canada. mississauga.ca/arts-and-cult…

This Summer Solstice, 21 June 2025 marks the 291st anniversary of the passing of enslaved Black woman, Marie Joseph Angelique who was hanged in Montreal (in 1734) for allegedly burning down that city. Warrior woman, rest in power! Buy my book about her story-available near you.

Today is the 107th Anniversary of the Halifax Explosion.
Students and teachers in grade 5-7 classrooms in Nova Scotia will be able to navigate conversations about the Halifax Explosion with the help of a new teaching guide.
