Running for the emergency exit. @afursedon@mastodonapp.uk Many folks complaining it's too complicated had no problems setting up the jazziest Myspace backgrounds. I just read this first: fedi.tips/how-to-use-mastodo…

Even in opposition, carrying on with this absolute horse shit. "Oh look at the tiny bit of improvement over here after we set fire to everything"
➡️ Inflation down ➡️ Employment up ➡️ Fastest growth in the G7 That was Labour’s real economic inheritance, but @RachelReevesMP still wants to raise your taxes.

"We're providing a great service by ripping off those unaware of the value of the stuff their selling" is an appalling business model. Just end this now, or face the inevitable ceremonial burning of tote bags.
Please note! We appreciate this service won't be suitable for everyone's needs i.e. those seeking to maximise collectible items. However for anyone looking to trade casually for a quick turn-around i.e. to make space, then this could well be a great solution.

Sinking so far into an ideological sewer that you think attacking the homeless is anything other than inhuman is a "lifestyle choice". Fundamentally evil.
The British people are compassionate. We will always support those who are genuinely homeless. But we cannot allow our streets to be taken over by rows of tents occupied by people, many of them from abroad, living on the streets as a lifestyle choice. 1/4

@ReadingCouncil loving the ad-hoc LTN trial on Albany Road! Deliveries can access (reversing down), space to turn at the end, no cars idling outside homes or speeding through. Can we make this permanent, block off Occy Rd end with some planters? Cc @SarahHacker_rdg

This is what makes no sense about 'small government ' Tory ideology. What, they don't want their bins collected or any usable roads? They're basically anarchists in gilets.
Local government as a whole is £3 BILLION pounds short of what is needed to deliver business as usual. This is unsustainable.

It felt like a seismic shift when @gidcoe moved to evenings, as though the real music was being pushed into the dark, how wrong that feeling was. I'll mourn the loss of this program, it was at once communal and personal, perfect radio. Once more into the unknown.

These fucking clowns have nothing but doublespeak left.
April Fools Day has arrived 24 hours early 🤡 Here's some off-the-scale irony from @KemiBadenoch trolling us all with her "we're joining a trading bloc, there's strength in numbers" doublespeak. Wait till she hears about the EU, only 20 miles away...

This is a horrific, insane statistic. How the fuck is anyone in the US gun industry able to justify making $ from this industrialised murder?
Replying to @jburnmurdoch
Time for perhaps the most damning stat of all: One in 25 American five-year-olds today will not make it to their 40th birthday. No parent should ever have to bury their child, but on average across the US one set of parents from every kindergarten class most likely will.

Amidst the cavalcade of inhumane, villainous, fuckery the Tories have disgorged over the last 13 years, it's easy to forget the time they all went to the same power stance cosplay workshop.

Prince Heinrich XIII has had a shocker here. Never attempt a coup d'état with a double paisley tie and pocket square combo. He's right not to match them as the pocket square should complement (not match) the tie but he really should have gone with a plain dark orange square.
! BREAKING ! German Prince Heinrich XIII Reuss of Greiz was arrested Wednesday morning along with at least 24 others suspected of planning a coup d'état in Germany The action is ongoing and 3000 police officers have arrested people in Germany associated with a right-wing group

'Had we been a member the European Union in February...we would not have been able to set a framework to allow Ukraine to be so successful. That would've been one of the biggest defeats for the Western world in modern history.' Mark is joined by Jacob Rees-Mogg on Mark Meets.

The rumours are true. Steel yourselves for the undramatic return of a Fursedon Sunday DJ set at the Oakland, supporting the venerable @tracksgrooves. An aural balm requisite for these nebulous times.
You can catch me deejaying at least twice in Reading this Sunday afternoon/ evening - tracks&grooves at the Oakford from 1pm before I hand over to a special guest other Andrew @afursedon at 4pm, then up @TheFoxBeerhouse to join the b2b DJ crew from @milkreading into the evening

In 1940 the RAF, Royal Navy and British Army blocked a threatened invasion by 24 divisions of experienced ground, special and airborne forces, 3 airfleets and most of the German navy. Suella's 'invasion' is not what is happening now, but the language of the fascism they repelled.
