Mēs no mūsu valdības gaidam tieši tādu pašu attieksmi pret šo jautājumu! @edgarsrinkevics @AndrisKulbergs @Jekaba11 @Brivibas36
The EU’s new Migration Pact came into force today. Poland announced that it will refuse to receive quota migrants under the pact’s “mandatory solidarity mechanism” and will also refuse to pay the EUR 20 000 fee per refused quota migrant that the EU will place on refusing states

Migration Pact must be stopped. No mandatory migrant quotas. No penalties for sovereign nations that choose their own path. Europe must protect its borders and put its citizens first. Those who come to Europe must respect its laws, democratic principles, and fundamental values. Those who commit serious crimes or repeatedly refuse to comply with the law should lose their right to remain. Defend borders. Defend democracy. Stop the Pact. #StopThePact #SecureBorders #ProtectEurope #NationalSovereignty #MigrationPolicy #EUPolitics

Ar jūsų serverinė iš tikrųjų atsiperka? Dažnai įmonės renkasi laikyti IT infrastruktūrą pas save, tikėdamosi taip sutaupyti. Tačiau augant darbo krūviams, brangstant įrangai ir vis sparčiau diegiant AI sprendimus, tie „sutaupymai“ gali labai greitai ištirpti Kartu su mūsų partneriu ir klientu „Altic IT“ parengėme straipsnį, kuriame „Altic IT“ vadovas Marijus Strončikas ir „Delska Lithuania“ COO Viktoras Aliaševičius apžvelgia 5 signalus, kad laikas iš naujo įvertinti savo IT infrastruktūrą: ⚠️ Verslui kritinės sistemos pradeda strigti ar lėtėti ⚠️ Infrastruktūros kaštai auga greičiau nei planuota ⚠️ Nėra 24/7 priežiūros ar palaikymo ⚠️ Trūksta elektros galios ir aušinimo galimybių ⚠️ Didėja saugumo ir veiklos rizikos Kaip pastebi Viktoras: „Pastaraisiais metais, sparčiai brangstant IT įrangai dėl AI plėtros ir geopolitinių priežasčių, vis daugiau įmonių vietoje nuolatinių investicijų į nuosavą infrastruktūrą renkasi debesijos ar duomenų centrų paslaugas – taip išlaidas perkeldamos iš CAPEX į OPEX.“ Straipsnyje nagrinėjama, kodėl prieš 5 metus dar pakankama atrodžiusi serverinė šiandien gali tapti ribojančiu veiksniu – augant duomenų kiekiams, AI sprendimams ir verslo plėtros poreikiams. 📖 Paskaitykite visą straipsnį: altic.lt/5-kritines-priezast… #DELSKA #AlticIT #OnPremInfrastructure #DataCenters #ITIssues #BusinessContinuity

AI has changed the rules of data center infrastructure. Power, not computing, is now the primary constraint. Across many established European markets, grid limitations are delaying new data center projects by years. The Baltics offer a different path forward. With available power capacity, strong connectivity, a competitive energy landscape, and a strategic location within the EU, the region is well positioned for AI, HPC, and next-generation digital infrastructure. Delska's new 10 MW EU North Riga LV DC1 is built for this new reality, delivering AI-ready infrastructure powered by renewable energy, with room to scale and the advantages of operating within the EU's regulatory framework. It was a pleasure to meet 🇺🇦 president @ZelenskyyUa in person, Since today, we take real steps in creating Ukraine antidrone expertise in Latvia. Our skies can only be protected if we follow Ukraine example, know-how and experience. We signed Drone Agreement to have mutual benefit in making Baltic skies safer and economic military ties stronger including co-production with 🇱🇻 military industry We support 🇺🇦 accession goals in 🇪🇺 and being part of NATO in the future.
My first meeting with the new Prime Minister of Latvia, @AndrisKulbergs, and an important result for our countries – we signed a Drone Deal. These are concrete things to strengthen our joint defense and co-production, and, importantly, this also means Ukraine’s expertise and experience helping to strengthen our partners. This is exactly the kind of systemic cooperation we are building with those who have consistently supported us throughout all the years of Russia’s war. Ukraine is interested in ensuring that every region of Europe has sufficient protection against Russian threats. I also informed the Prime Minister about Ukraine’s air defense needs. Separately, we discussed sanctions pressure on Russia, in particular strengthening sanctions against Russia’s shadow fleet. I am grateful that we have such excellent relations between our nations. And we thank Latvia for all the support it has provided to Ukraine throughout this war.

Europe Wins Again. Obviously. Armenia went to the polls yesterday. And the results are exactly what you’d expect if you’d been paying attention for the past five years, rather than wallowing in Kremlin nostalgia like a damp sock. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan declared victory on Monday, with his Civil Contract Party leading with 52.5% of the vote. Armenia, a landlocked country the size of Belgium that Russia has spent decades treating as a vassal state, has looked at its options and made a decision that required roughly the same level of intellectual effort as choosing between a Michelin-starred restaurant and a skip fire. They chose Europe. This election was less a routine vote than a referendum on Pashinyan’s post-2020 course reducing dependence on Russia and moving toward an explicit European orientation. And Russia, naturally, did everything in its power to stop it. According to Reuters, citing Western intelligence officials, the election faced heavy Russian covert interference, including disinformation campaigns and a plan to transport Russian Armenians into Armenia to sway the vote. One analyst collective described it as one of the largest state-backed disinformation campaigns in modern European history. And Armenia still told them to get lost. Putin had already warned Armenia it would face economic consequences for drifting westward, and introduced restrictions on Armenian agricultural exports in the weeks before the vote. Threats, propaganda, economic blackmail. The full Russian toolkit. Result: irrelevant. Now, Trump, Tucker Carlson and JD Vance would like you to believe that Russia represents some superior civilisational model. A proud, white, Christian fortress holding the line against the Muslim hordes supposedly swamping Europe. It is a compelling narrative, in the same way that flat earth theory is compelling if you ignore every single fact available to you. Here is one such fact: between 10 and 15 percent of Russia’s own population is Muslim. Tatars, Bashkirs, Chechens, Ingush, Dagestanis. Millions of them. Russia is, by its own demographic reality, a multi-ethnic, multi-faith state with a larger Muslim population than most of Western Europe. But you’re not supposed to know that. It complicates the story. Meanwhile, the Muslim share of the EU population sits at around 5 percent. But the Tucker Carlsons of the world need you frightened, so the numbers get quietly shuffled off stage. So Armenia joins the queue. Behind Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, and every Eastern European country that isn’t currently run by a Slovak who seems to have wandered in from a Moscow focus group. The pattern is not subtle. Every country that has actually experienced Russian influence in practice is sprinting in the opposite direction. The only nation currently moving toward Russia’s orbit is the United States, which managed to elect a man whose foreign policy instincts were apparently shaped by a property developer’s admiration for strongmen with good buildings. The world watches America and hopes it finds its way back. Most people think it will. Eventually. The damage, however, is already considerable, and democracy, like a soufflé, does not always survive rough handling. Armenia made its choice. The right one. Obviously. Culture (including work ethic) cannot be imported or exported by decree. The massive migration waves flooding Europe are not coming to integrate, adopt local values, or respect the order of their host countries. On the contrary, the dominant approach is to demand rights while maintaining their own lifestyle and reshaping the local environment to suit them, creating isolated parallel societies with their own laws and cultural norms. If you mechanically replace 60% of a city's or country's population with people from a completely different cultural background, you don’t integrate them into the old culture-you turn that place into a mirror image of the very culture they fled. Therefore, the prediction that major EU nations will inevitably run out of money is unavoidable. When the cultural foundation that created this wealth and order disappears, the economic superstructure collapses with it. Europe is beginning to realize (almost too late) that you cannot sustain a first-world welfare state with a third-world work culture and social responsibility. #Europe #MigrationCrisis #EU #Integration #EconomicCrisis #Demographics #WelfareState #CultureMatters #WesternCivilization #EUPolitics

Good report!
