In order for the Government to ban prolonged solitary confinement, prisoners must receive a minimum 2 hours of meaningful human contact per day, which shouldn't count phone calls. If this doesn't occur, then prolonged solitary confinement will continue. newsroom.co.nz/2026/06/06/go…
