A single episode of a traditional cartoon costs between $1–2 million to produce.
Even the “budget” version still runs $150,000–$300,000 - and that’s for just one episode.
The timeline? 6-18 months from concept to screen.
That’s why animation has always belonged to the big studios
Disney. Pixar. DreamWorks. Netflix.
They’re the only ones who could afford it.
