Hard to believe that a Cricket World Cup is going on in India. There is not enough hype!
It lacks the same level of excitement as the 1996 and 2011 World Cups, which felt like extended national festivals. Even the IPL manages to generate more buzz. While I'm a fan of the game, as are many, the event doesn't elicit the same old 'madness' at the community-level.
