Hearing from creators on @X that their ranking on Leaderboards plays into their sponsorship rates. Not our main use case originally, but love to see it! If I were a creator, I'd only focus on these metrics: - Already established β†’ add your rank and social cap as a measure of your engagement - Just starting out β†’ your expected multiple measures how well your content stacks up to accounts with similar # of followers, ie predicted success of growth, is your friend

3 reasons why not focusing on organic social is money you're leaving on the table: 1) word-of-mouth marketing boost salesΒ 5xΒ more than paid media or ads. bonus: these customers also retain better (by 37%!!) 2) 90% of people are more likely to trust a recommended brand. getting good word of mouth through existing customers (ex: early @stripe, @figma) or influential voices builds a consistent top of funnel analyze your target audience with @getnotus to get a list of influences they *actually* pay attention to 3) 96% of brands take too long to respond to customers’ mentions. easy wins for brands on Notus to get alerts when they, a competitor or a related topic (like a problem their product solves) are mentioned no more refreshing notifications to not miss high-ROI conversations

We’ve been getting some questions regarding the latest update to the Notus leaderboards. The update fixed a bug that was causing social cap scores to be in the billions. Social cap reflects the # of followers you should have given the engagement you’re getting. Any account getting over a billion is statistically inaccurate. The bug occurred each time an account was refreshed, so the accounts that were most impacted were the ones that were refreshed most frequently. That should not have been happening. The leaderboards, as they stand today, accurately reflect the amount of engagement accounts have been recently receiving. The social cap, rankings and expected are now accurate. The update affected all accounts, across the board, with no preference to one account over another. The rankings change in real time. We are not affiliated with X. Leaderboard rankings has absolutely no impact on the amount of impressions/views your account receives on X. If you have any questions about social cap, expected rank, eligibility to rev share, hovering about these on your desktop (not mobile!) will show you the full definitions.

Good question. The bug was flagged by a user. Looked into it, found that social cap measurement was off. Social cap is an estimate of how many followers you should have given the amount of engagement you have. So no user’s social cap should be over billion. Fixed it. As simple as that.

Rankings are updated daily. Social cap is an estimate of how many followers you should have given the amount of engagement you have. Ever since launching leaderboards, you could get this explanation by viewing this on desktop and hovering above social cap. Social caps in the billions is just inaccurate - and was the bug we fixed and made more accurate across the board.

Deployment complete & the bug in social cap calculations is fixed. Across the board, social cap and expected measures are now much accurate (no more social caps in the billions!). This should better reflect engagement on X. Appreciate your patience everyone.

Deploying an update for the Leaderboards, updating how social capital is measured. Until the deployment is done, expect rankings to fluctuate. Once completed, this update should not affect rankings significantly, but will adjust social cap across the board.
