AI agents need permanent identity. Because agents don’t just need a wallet. They need reputation. They need payment history. They need trust. They need continuity. An identity that expires is a broken identity. XNS gives agents names that last.

Yeah the Brantly situation sucked. He singlehandedly caried ENS, and still carries it over at EthID/Grails. I dislike the DAO a lot. I followed their account to see governance stuff but haven't had a single interaction with it. Validator blocked me on the socials for no reason, so I couldn't even see governance proposals on my timeline. Then Danny banned me from the Discord when I asked about it. And he also tried to gaslight me about it. Even offered to send me the logs - which were conveniently showing only the timeframe after they unbanned me on Twitter (and Discord) 😹 Danny kept trying to gaslight me in DMs and mentioned that "my accusations" about getting banned are the issue. Apparently it's not an issue when they randomly ban users on ENS socials (for what I assume were personal reasons) and prevent them from seeing governance stuff. Funnily enough whoever did the nuking, only did so on ENS socials and not their personal ones. I know Validator nuked me on twitter. I know Danny did it on discord. I just don't know why. But I assume it might have something to do with me being anti ENS censorship.

ENS introduces unnecessary risks. Permanent XNS names solve all the problems.

ENS has been around for 9 years, yet .eth still isn’t widely used for payments. Why? Because your name can expire without you realizing it. You keep sharing the same .eth to receive funds… then someone else registers it. Now payment sent to that name goes silently to a stranger. No warning. No protection. That’s why permanent names is needed.

You shouldn’t need to check renewal dates for your bank account identifier at all. That’s why we built XNS: permanent human-readable name mappings for your 0x addresses.
📅 Your .eth names expire on different dates The one you registered today? 365 days. The one from two years ago? Different. The one you bought off someone? Who knows - did you check? Most people with 3 .eth names don't know when all of them expire. They know one or two. The rest? Hope and vibes. That's not a strategy. That's a countdown you're ignoring. Check all your names. Know the dates. Renew what needs renewing. Then forget about it for another year. 🧡 ensvision.com #ENS #ETH #Web3

Instead of paying more then $2k upfront for a name plus yearly renewal taxes, you could simply register: rudy.xns for 0.001 ETH (~$2) and own it forever. No expirations. No renewals. No risk of losing your payment identifier because you missed a payment. 👉 x2xpay.me/?tab=register
🏛️ REGISTERED: rudy.eth For: $2,457.60 (1.46 ETH) Minter: wholesomecrypto.eth @wholesomecrypto Last Sale: 3.70 ETH, 3 Jan 2022 Categories: Handles, First Names USA grails.app/rudy.eth

If you’re using ENS, take a step back and ask yourself: Do you really want to pay recurring renewal fees for a payment identifier? Do you really own your ENS name if it can be taken away the moment you stop paying? Or would you rather have a permanent, human-readable name for your 0x address that you truly own forever? If it’s the latter, explore: xns.name You can thank us later. 🤝

If someone uses the word "ownership" when talking about ENS, you can consider them retarded and move on.
Jun 11
“.eth” is not true ownership. It’s a recurring liability dressed up as an asset. Any time ENS uses the word “ownership,” remember: You don’t own it. You rent it. And if you stop paying, it’s gone.

With XNS, you will never find yourself in situation where you lose your name because you can’t afford to pay the renewal tax. XNS names are permanent. Pay once. Own forever. Real ownership.

What namespaces should we add next? Drop your suggestions below. If we like your idea, we’ll add it to XNS and make you the namespace owner. As the owner, you’ll earn 10% of all registration fees generated by that namespace in perpetuity. Make sure it doesn't already exist. You can check the current list here: x2xpay.me/?tab=register
