CKD is associated with fluid excess. This study found in patients with CKD, empagliflozin resulted in a sustained reduction in a bioimpedance-derived estimate of fluid overload, with no significant effect on fat mass bit.ly/JASN0271

- Diabetes
- CKD aetiology
- Type of glomerular disease
And reduces AKI by ~20%
