In his remarks, Okaso Okedi Cyprian, the District Inspector of Schools-Serere, who officiated at the launch encouraged learners to actively participate in #AgroecologyClub activities and to cascade knowledge on the need to transition to agroecology for sustainable food systems within the communities where they live. “It is important to be in these clubs because you will acquire interpersonal skills, personal skills, and lifelong skills. When you write about agroecology, let people see how your poem is relating to climate-smart agriculture and the changes taking place in your community.
