Impressive case for #screenandintervene model for targeted #SDOH interventions in clinic. Eg sending Housing Advocacy letter to landlord (ex: mold ➡️ asthma exacerbation) resulted in 74% resolution of the housing issue. We should be empowered to "work up" social needs #SGIM24

It's world Lichen Sclerosis awareness day. I was recently talking to an extended family member. 5 of her good friends have LS. It took years for them to get diagnosed because many women stop going to the GYN after childbearing years & their internist doesn't do a vulvar exam.
