Well said @UwaseSandrine7 , it is often left unsaid of the great work that the CHWs do in our society, they are just dedicated and passionate about what they do in general, I was personally inspired by their knowledge and how they clearly demonstrate what they do.
We often speak of heroes in white coats. But in the quiet corners of Rwanda, under tin roofs and dusty paths, live the unseen heroes The Community Health Workers, whose uniforms I believe are courage and compassion. Yesterday, with @PIH’s guidance ,we visited them 1/9

So: Are you storing your coin in the bank of humanity? When patients leave your care,do they leave with healing or just a prescription?Real change begins with how we choose to show up.Not once, but always. Bcz one day,it won’t be your degree they remember,it’ll be YOUR presence.

Gen. (Rtd) James Kabarebe: A Hero, Not a Villain! 🇷🇼✨ The U.S. sanctions won’t change the reality on the ground in Eastern DRC—where real instability is fueled by genocidal militias like FDLR and corrupt leadership in Kinshasa. Sanctioning a man who has dedicated his life to securing Rwanda and the region is not the solution. History will remember heroes, not political games. #Turikumwe Sir 🫡

Expectant mothers at high risk deserves so much care and close follow-up, otherwise it's not risky like that, with the advancement of healthcare facilities, the MMR is now 203 deaths per 100,000 live births and by 2030 is to reduce deaths to less than 70 per 100,000 live births..

🎗️ October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🎗️ This year’s theme is “No one should face breast cancer alone.” Together, we can spread awareness, offer support, and fight this battle as one community. Whether you are a patient, survivor, family member, or friend, remember that you're not alone. Let's stand by each other, raise awareness, and take proactive steps for our health. 🔍 Early detection can save lives, and that starts with regular screenings. We urge you to make breast cancer screening a priority—because the earlier it’s detected, the better the chances of successful treatment. 👩‍⚕️ Tomorrow, we’ll be sharing the key signs and symptoms to watch out for. Stay informed, stay empowered! #KFHcares #BreastCancerAwareness #YouAreNotAlone #EarlyDetectionSavesLives
