Just watched another 45m long video about -the shutdown- from a YouTuber who isn’t a regular in VR.
It’s got me thinking… there’s probably gonna be at least one “Horizon worlds shutdown party” on the 15th. Wonder what they’ll do when Horizon Worlds VR just keeps working? 😂😂😂
The most frustrating part of consuming VR news is that the big names in tech are... not necessarily tapped in to VR.
So they're still releasing clickbaity long form content around the June 15th shutdown of Horizon Worlds VR... which has been misinformation for MONTHS now 😂

Man honestly whoever was there in them trenches watching Xenoblade Chronicles 2 dip to 15fps and 368p should just get the Switch 2 upgrade for free.
An argument could be made for all the upgrade packs to be free, but i feel like XC2 was the most egregious for us Switch folk.

I absolutely love that you can play retro flat games from several consoles and handhelds native on the Quest 3 without any type of side loading required with this new application Retro Game Dev VR. You have to source your own backups of the games but I love it. And the room looks fantastic on Quest 3 too. You can play at a desk on a small CRT monitor on your large CRT TV or on a handheld while laying in bed. Oh and spatial audio too.

The browser frame widget thats rolling out to Meta Quests worldwide almost allowed HorizonOS to fill a gap that was left when @Meta killed Oculus Rooms.
But somewhere along the line, we lost the ability to invite people into our personal loft, limiting how great this could be.
