Media literacy is so dead. Imagine lacking the minimal brain power it takes to comprehend the relevancy of music volume and use of light in a scene.
still astonishing to me this guy is at the alleged precipice of modern big budget filmmaking. the way he masterfully <checks notes> turns the music up real loud and blows out the exposure to signal to the audience shit is getting real for ol' J. Robert Oppenheimer................

the best movie trivia quiz is actually when your non-moviepilled coworker gives you a few vague statements about the movie they just watched and you noscope the title and lead actor and they act like you recited their social security number from memory

I’ll never understand why they chose not to alter Smart Hulk’s voice to sound less like Ruffalo just talking.
Avengers: Infinity War has a deleted scene where Smart Hulk bursts out of the Hulkbuster during the battle of Wakanda Natasha tries to calm him down like in Age of Ultron Hulk just looks at her and speaks in perfect English Marvel cut it

Kind of surprised I never see anyone talking about Fandango Fan Club. It’s certainly no AMC A-List deal, but for $10 a month or $100 a year you get waived fees, $10 ticket coupon per month, and access to special offers. The coupon alone pays for the membership.
So if you get amc a list you get to see 4 movies a week for 25$, if you see two movies a month it pays for itself

There are simply no excuses for bad visual effects in blockbusters anymore. Treat your VFX artists with respect, give them actual time to work and the results will be beautiful.

Two things can be true at the same time: 1) I, a middle aged Midwestern white guy, am not the target audience for this halftime show. 2) It's fun to see slices of American culture that I'm not familiar with.
