The effect is real -- I was struggling with the NES game Lifeforce on one of the last LCD TV's that still had a composite input, and it got noticeably easier when I plugged it into an actual old CRT display. That would just be a couple frames of latency in the TV firmware.
I had an X post a while ago measuring the "tap to flap" latency on one of the modern emulated arcade cabinets in contrast with a real one.

Google'ın yeni "açık dünya oluşturma" aracı Project Genie nihayet ABD dışında globalde daha fazla kişiye de açıldı, ben de hemen denedim.
Metin yazarak (ya da görsel yükleyerek) kendi açık dünyanı yaratıp gerçek zamanlı içinde gezebiliyorsun. Ben de hemen denedim ve İstanbul'da geçen GTA tarzı bir açık dünya oluşturdum. Yayalar ve arabaların tepkisi hiç fena değil fakat şu anda tepkime süresi ve FPS biraz düşük, elbette bazı bug'lar var ama geleceği düşündükçe gerçekten heyecan verici bir teknoloji. Kod yazmadan, oyun motoru kullanmadan kendi dünyanı yaratmak… Bu işin geleceği burada gibi duruyor.
Sizce bu teknoloji 1-2 yıl içinde nerelere evrilir?

Bought a $1,742.80 camera online from BestBuy.
The FedEx delivery driver stole it. FedEx admitted it.
But BestBuy won’t give a refund. They said we need to “work with local law enforcement.”
Thought everyone should know if you buy from @BestBuy and a @FedEx driver steals what you paid for, your money is gone. Neither company will make it right.
I’ve spent over $30K at BestBuy and will never spend another penny there.

I like how we had a few months of kumbaya in the console wars. PlayStation games on PC, XBOX games on PS5 and Nintendo was like, get fucked.

According to Jeff Grubb during Giant Bomb’s Nite Day 2 event, Gears of War: E-Day was originally planned for PS5, but Microsoft has reportedly decided to make it an Xbox exclusive.
“Gears of War E-Day was gonna be on PS5. It’s not anymore. That just happened. That was a decision that just got made.”
If true, the decision could mark a change in Microsoft’s strategy, with a bigger focus on using exclusives to strengthen the Xbox brand, and makes sense since what Sharma said these last weeks
Keeping Gears of War: E-Day exclusive could help Xbox stand out, but it would also miss PS5 sales.
Microsoft has not officially commented on the report, so the information should be treated as a rumor until confirmed.
