Britain can fix its energy supply within four years. Energy Abundance proposes 40 gigawatts of new gas and 20 gigawatts of new coal, fast, reliable power that works whatever the weather. Siemens built the equivalent for Egypt in under three years. We know it can be done. Once those stations are running, the rationing charges on your bill get scrapped entirely, prices come down, the lights come on and Britain gets back to work. šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§

There are so many people just standing around, filming or doing nothing as @YoungBobRB is brutally beaten up in the street. What have we become?

I'm just going to keep posting this all day dizzythinks.substack.com/p/t… but whether any Lobby hack can be bothered to read _and_ understand it let alone politicians is unknown.

Claire is spot on. How about making all those lethal maternity units safe - and saving hundreds of babies’ lives - before helping people die?
It's back. Incredible how giving the state powers to assist people to die, is a now considered a higher priority for some politicians than fixing an NHS that struggles to keep people alive. Grrr.

Parents can buy when purchasing a Smart phone for their child a sim what is know as a" Safer sim". This restricts the sites and messages that a child can read, use and receive.. This also allows for parental control...

Absolutely right and it’s disgraceful the charge was manslaughter and not murder so the long line of incompetents didn’t have to take the stand.

Absolutely dismayed that the Assisted Dying Bill is being re-introduced. Not a single one of our major medical or professional bodies support it. A deeply flawed and dangerous bill that poses a real risk to the most vulnerable in our society.

It is clear social media has a devastating effect on kids. Puts rocket boosters on normal insecurity. The epidemic in child mental health problems started with the internet. Parents see the harm every day. Doing nothing is morally indefensible. BUT you can - and must - have age verification without digital id.

This story is wild. Literal psy-ops run by British deep state, working against the British people
One of those things where you try explaining it to not very political people and you just end up sounding completely mad dailymail.com/news/article-1…

I was sad to see her letter actively mislead. She said the "official Impact Assessment examined it to ensure it was workable, effective, and enforceable". It did not come to that conclusion, and no minister has said it is in fit state. Nor will they say it is safe.

Very sad to see my colleague Lauren Edwards MP bringing the deeply flawed and unsafe Assisted Dying Bill back as a PMB. If it was safe and brilliant why did the Lords sponsor of the bill bring 77 amendments in the Lords? It cannot just be brought back as it is and forced through.

Buckinghamshire council spent £819 million over a five year contract period on taxis. £163 million a year on average. This is insane. The council could run an equivalent transport service for a fraction of this cost

Reform UK will reverse Reeves’ disastrous rise in the rate of Employers’ National Insurance. But we’ll do this for British workers only. We’ll fund this by introducing the Employer Migrant Labour Levy. Businesses will have to pay an annual fee for each migrant worker. It’ll hit unskilled migrant workers much, much harder than high skilled ones. Along with our migration and welfare reforms, this will see millions of migrants we don’t need leave. And get millions of Brits off welfare and into work.

Just in case anyone is still wondering why @UKLabour and the terminally irresponsible Kier Starmer chooses to not fund UK Defence and to gleefully persecute Veterans on behalf of our enemies…….
We are trapped in an endless, global arms race. We must break the cycle to trigger a new path: toward disarmament, de-escalation and peace. My piece for @M_Star_Online ahead of this weekend’s International Conference Against War. morningstaronline.co.uk/arti…

This entire campaign was sold with a sense of desperate urgency, yet Esther Rantzen is still with us and Parliament is again being pushed to rush one of the gravest moral and legal changes imaginable. We cannot even guarantee decent care for the living. Why would anyone trust the state with assisted death?
