All of a sudden, @home_assistant began remembering the selected default dashboard per user rather than per device. I can't say I like the change.

I remember insisting on proper ducting from the street straight into the house back in 2014. Everyone thought I was being dramatic. Fast forward to today, Openreach turns up and installs FTTP in two hours. Turns out long term planning is just smugness with a delay.

Here is my take on a Battery Low sensor for @home_assistant It checks every entity with a battery device class and can skip those that have a special label. ⚡️🔋

Just did my first ever trick or treat with my 6 year old daughter. I was dressed all in black with a beard and a shaved head. Could not resist saying in a strong slavic accent “You better give her more candy.” The parents laughed nervously but complied!

I've upgraded all of my home switches and WiFi APs to @TPLINK Omada. It all ended up costing 1/4 of what Ubiquity would have costed and has been working rock-solid for the past month!

Down with Covid, too much time, no sense, so I hacked together a player that pulls full cyberpunk shorts right from the database and plays them on the site. Works as a PWA too: cyberpunkhub.com/player

Currently the back cover of the smartwatch is still an unoptimised 3D-printed part, as I prioritised getting prototypes done quickly and iterating on the sensor board and FPC design. Now that this is done, I will have to create a proper injection molded part
