Some of the "best" lectures ever heard are distinctly ableist, how wonderful. University departments, please provide better disability and ableism training for your staff.
Energy: It sounds simple, but going for a walk can really get the juices going again. Engage with nature and appreciate the present moment. It sounds trivial, but some things sound so trivial that people forget to do them, they are powerful!
Reminder that you don't necessarily know all of the work someone is doing on anything from their Twitter account. Some people share and some don't, for a variety of reasons -- respect that.

When it comes to industry "vs" academia, I would not pay attention to any of the extreme positions. The decision for most will rest on many factors clustered somewhere in the middle ground. Reality is a lot more complicated than is sometimes suggested. Do what is best for YOU.
Overthinking: Don't overthink the process and don't worry if something isn't working for you. We are all different and we must respect that. If something is amazing for someone else and doesn't work for you, that's fine! Feel free to try and reject methods as you see fit.
I hope this thread is useful, and you take something from it! Some of these may work for you, some may not, or perhaps some tweak is what does the job. If you have any of your own tips, please share!
