एक आदमी के यहां हर महीने ₹6,000 का बिजली बिल आता था। साल भर में उसका बिजली खर्च लगभग ₹72,000 पहुंच जाता था? उसने सोचा कि एक बार Solar लगवा लिया जाए। इसलिए उसने करीब ₹3.5 लाख खर्च करके 5KW Solar System लगवा लिया उसे लगा था कि अब बिजली का बिल लगभग खत्म हो जाएगा और कुछ सालों में पूरा पैसा भी वसूल हो जाएगा लेकिन कुछ महीनों बाद उसे समझ आया कि Solar लगवाना और Solar से फायदा कमाना दोनों अलग बातें हैं पहली गलती उसने Solar System चुनने में की। उसके इलाके में रोज़ 4-5 घंटे Power Cut होता था फिर भी उसने Subsidy के चक्कर में On-Grid Solar लगवा लिया जिसकी कीमत लगभग ₹2.8 लाख थी बाद में उसे पता चला कि बिजली जाते ही On-Grid System भी बंद हो जाता है। यानी दिन में धूप होने के बावजूद घर में बिजली नहीं आती अगर उसने Hybrid Solar लगाया होता तो उसे लगभग ₹4.5 लाख खर्च करने पड़ते, लेकिन Power Cut के समय भी बिजली मिलती रहती यानी शुरुआत में लगभग ₹1.7 लाख बचाने के चक्कर में वह रोज़ की परेशानी झेलने लगा दूसरी गलती Installation में हुई। उसने सबसे सस्ता Installer चुन लिया जिसने ₹20,000 से ₹30,000 कम रेट में काम करने का वादा किया था बाद में पता चला कि Earthing, LA Protection और कुछ Safety Components सही तरीके से लगाए ही नहीं गए कुछ महीनों बाद Fault आने लगे और Repair पर ही लगभग ₹15,000 से ₹25,000 खर्च हो गए अब तीसरी गलती की बारी आई। Solar लगवाने के बाद उसने Panels की सफाई करना लगभग छोड़ दिया धीरे-धीरे Panels पर धूल, मिट्टी और पक्षियों की गंदगी जमा होने लगी उसका 5KW Plant सामान्य स्थिति में लगभग 600 यूनिट प्रति माह बिजली बना सकता था लेकिन गंदगी की वजह से उत्पादन लगभग 15% कम हो गया यानी हर महीने लगभग 90 यूनिट बिजली कम बनने लगी अगर बिजली की कीमत ₹8 प्रति यूनिट मानी जाए तो हर महीने लगभग ₹720 का नुकसान होने लगा एक साल में यही नुकसान लगभग ₹8,640 तक पहुंच गया और 10 साल में यह आंकड़ा ₹86,400 के करीब पहुंच सकता है तब उसे समझ आया कि Solar System में नुकसान सिर्फ खराब मशीन से नहीं होता कई बार गलत System चुनने, गलत Installation करवाने और Maintenance न करने से लाखों रुपये का नुकसान हो सकता है उस दिन के बाद उसने हर 10-15 दिन में Panels की सफाई शुरू कर दी और System की Monitoring भी करने लगा अगर आप ₹3.5 लाख खर्च करके Solar लगवाएं और बाद में गलत फैसलों की वजह से ₹1 लाख से ज्यादा का नुकसान हो जाये?
