I'm a chronic tinkerer of my own schedule and process. Recently it compounded into Nerve, the multiagent OS that runs my life AND Finch (Series B, 100 employees). 3,000 brain notes, 145 background jobs, agents running on Ralph loops.🧵

If quality of output is not a function of intelligence (intensity/level), but of effort expended by a sufficiently capable intelligence, then: LLMs don't need to be smarter than humans, they just need to be cheaper, faster, more abundant and scalable. Which they will be.

New investment: Excited to co-lead a $1.5m round in Clasp alongside @Base10Partners. Problem: No HR or payroll platform is complete without employee benefits. But building it is hard. Solution: Clasp is the “Stripe for Health Benefits” — making it easier for HR, payroll and brokerage platforms to launch employee benefits. axios.com/pro/health-tech-de…

Today's internet giants -- Facebook, Google, Amazon, etc -- seem undisruptable. One argument is that we're at the end of the beginning. They've won, and they'll remain winners. But I think Web3 might disrupt the Aggregators. notboring.co/p/who-disrupts-…

An obvious point that took me way too long to appreciate: in software engineering, you should probably optimize for speed even when you don't have to, because it's one of the easiest/best ways to prioritize subtraction and parsimony in the solution space. nature.com/articles/d41586-0….
