To the Muslim nations/the so-called Ummah, you didn’t even have to recognise Somaliland to trade with it, invest in it, or engage with it in any meaningful way. You didn’t even do the bare minimum.
That's what makes the outrage so pathetic. Many of the same people had no interest in Somaliland whatsoever. Now they're furious that Somaliland is exploring relationships elsewhere, as if we never came to them multiple times over the past few decades, and as if we weren’t at imminent risk of being invaded.
Wallahi, you are stupid if you think we would have remained politically vulnerable and economically disadvantaged while you all continued to advance your own interests and develop around us.

The contradiction is right there, but some of these Somalians are retards and they fall for this obvious hypocritical bs. This type isn't concerned with unity; he's concerned with protecting Djibouti's interests and ensuring Somaliland never becomes a regional competitor.
Some even have the goal to annex parts of Awdal to get more land for Djibouti. The dishonesty is actually sickening.

Wallahi this is so sad. They were chasing him for a long time and when he finally got to his mother, she told him to run because she assumed these men were only after her son. Instead, they killed her for it. I was told that this isn’t the first instance of its kind, it happened to another nomad mother not too long ago.
