Let’s Talk Periods: IFI Foundation Empowers Young Minds to Lead Menstrual Health Awareness Menstruation should never be a barrier to health, dignity, education, or opportunity. Yet stigma and misinformation continue to hold millions back. Through the #LetsTalkPeriods public health outreach campaign at World Skill Center, Bhubaneswar, IFI Foundation and WSC brought together young minds to drive a powerful conversation on menstrual health awareness, dignity, and inclusion. More than an event, this initiative was a collective effort to normalise conversations around menstruation, challenge harmful misinformation, and build a future where every girl and woman can manage her menstrual health with confidence and without shame. Menstruation is a natural part of life, not a taboo. This Global Menstrual Hygiene Day (#MHDay2026), let’s break the silence, challenge myths, and advocate for #PeriodEquity for all. IFI Foundation, an official partner of the Global Menstrual Hygiene Day Campaign, is launching a 5-day multilingual public health outreach initiative, #LetsTalkPeriods, from May 24 to May 28. Through doctor-led knowledge videos, youth voices, celebrity stories, advocacy messages, and impactful infographics, the campaign aims to spread awareness on menstrual health, hygiene, dignity, and rights across India. We appreciate the support of our outreach partners Swasthya Plus Network and OdishaLIVE, and our communication partner 'aml Communications' for the collaboration in spreading the messages on ground and digital space. As a part of the campaign, in collaboration with World Skill Center (WSC) Bhubaneswar, we are also hosting a youth-focused public health outreach program to build a #PeriodFriendlyWorld. As active members of the Odisha Menstrual Health & Hygiene Alliance (OMHHA), IFI Foundation, along with Swasthya Plus Network and OdishaLIVE, continues to strengthen the menstrual health ecosystem through awareness, advocacy, and community engagement.
