Important story by the WSJ. According to the California Energy Commission, California needs to install approximately 157,000 chargers, over 480 charging units per week through 2030. Not going to happen.
Southern California Edison has come across some truck fleets powering chargers using diesel generators because of shortfalls in the electrical grid. "The idea is that you’re decarbonizing. ... The diesel generators certainly aren’t doing that.”
