"Algorithmic loafing" is a phenomenon in human-AI teams where individuals exert minimal effort by mindlessly adhering to machine recommendations due to a reluctance to engage analytically with AI decisions. sciencedirect.com/science/ar… #Socialloafing

"When two things are different, the last thing you want is to try to mimic one with the other. It is a fool’s errand to try to get one to do everything that the other one does. They should work together. And those aren’t the kinds of models we’re trying to develop."

interesting paper by the @federalreserve "The Fragility of Perfectly Safe Digital Money" federalreserve.gov/econres/f… seems like they dont trust blockchains: “even when the liability is perfectly safe, the rail on which the money circulates can be a source of fragility,”

#DAT have always been something i disliked. Bullmarket: everyone cries yay, bearmarket: everyone hates them. Zero alpha , gross beta #Microstrategy @saylor now selling #BTC below average price to serve his dividends

In #Web3 the belief in bear/bullmarkets have become some sort of taken-for-granted institutional logic, influencing investment decisions, organizational growth, competitive strategy. Finance-wise, you would say beta always has dominated alpha. Below a recap of the definition:

i am increasingly using @Kimi_Moonshot due to its answers just being a bit better sometimes (by my own subjective judgements). I asked what is #ComputationalCreativity vs. #CreativeCognition of AI. Here is its reply:

Creative cognition of AI = the mechanisms. Cognitive science framing: Does the system's internal processing mirror human creative thinking—divergent thinking, conceptual blending, analogical reasoning? Can we map AI operations onto models like Geneplore or dual-process theories?
1
36
Computational creativity = the evaluation. Systems-level discipline: Should a computational system's outputs—and the system itself—be judged as creative by human standards? It concerns autonomy, intentionality, and whether the system makes value judgments about its own work.

If you discount $1 Trillion valuation of #Anthropic back 27yrs at e.g. 8% (reasonable for equity returns), you end up at 90-100B Val. Just to compare #Amazon, #Ebay, #Yahoo all IPOd below 1B back in the days

Creative Thinking will remain one of the skills that AI wont replace

the #tradfi industry is now embracing blockchain. 1) they still run legacy systems like mainframes, this is their roadmap on a plate 2) web3 mostly end up w/o: decentral, open, censorship resistant. What will remain is: composability, immutability at best coindesk.com/markets/2026/06…

Now we have it on black & white. In crypto, its all about Beta. This study analysed 116M #eth accounts from 2015-25. It found that market entry timing is the dominant predictor of returns, explaining 70-79% of variance, asset allocation choice has negligible impact
