Eli Lilly makes tirzepatide with a DEA List I controlled chemical, a Group 2A carcinogen, and a PFAS forever chemical. Novo Nordisk uses yeast. Novo's Ozempic backbone is fermented at their patent-protected plant in Kalundborg, Denmark. Tirzepatide and the synthetic GLP-1s are made via solid-phase peptide synthesis of fragments, then coupled in solution. Each cycle of deprotection uses piperidine, controlled by the DEA under Code 2704. It is the core of fentanyl. Each tirzepatide takes roughly 38 piperidine cycles across its fragments. Every SPPS step uses dimethylformamide as the solvent. DMF's residual limit was set at 880 ppm in 1997. The IARC reclassified it as a probable carcinogen in 2018, but the limit hasn't changed. Cleavage uses trifluoroacetic acid, a forever chemical. There is no harmonized regulatory limit for it. Toxicology data is too limited to set a safe daily dose. Approved drugs pass the specs. Every synthetic GLP-1 is made with these chemicals. One kilogram of API generates roughly twelve thousand liters of solvent waste. Novo built the modern route. Everyone else is stuck in 1997. Tens of millions take GLP-1 every week. We engineer enzymes to manufacture chemicals. Developing a yeast in the lab is not the same as running it in production. Novo has fermented GLP-1 peptides at industrial scale since 2010.

We cannot simply speak about withdrawing from Donbas as a matter of compromise. Our withdrawal from Donbas would open up opportunities for the Russian Federation to occupy our most fortified territories without losses. Some people say it would take a year to a year and a half to build new fortifications. But everyone forgets: first and foremost, that is a year and a half. And even if it were less, fortifications in an open field are a completely different matter from those in urban areas. They can never provide equally strong protection. A withdrawal would give the Russian Federation room for large-scale maneuver. They could advance either toward Kharkiv or toward Dnipro, destroying our cities. And two major cities would be at risk – cities that, incidentally, generate a significant share of our GDP. So many people have died there… The morale of our army would certainly decline. There would undoubtedly be a rift in society. The army – which would surely not support such steps – on one side, and society on the other. And division within society is precisely what Putin is aiming for. Moreover, there are currently 200,000 people living in the territories of Donbas that we are defending. Withdrawal does not mean preserving anything. You leave, and without any guarantees, you risk losing everything. And that is a major risk. From an interview with Rai Radio 1 (2/3).

Russian losses this March have reached their highest level since the start of the war: our drone strikes alone resulted in 33,988 Russian servicemembers killed or seriously wounded, while artillery and other strikes eliminated another 1,363 Russian occupiers. That means more than 35,000 Russian losses in just one month – and these are clearly verified losses. We have video documentation of every such strike in our system. I thank all our warriors for their precision. I will especially recognize the warriors of the Special Operations Center “A” of Ukraine’s Security Service, the “Magyar's Birds,” the State Border Guard Service special unit “Phoenix,” “Lasar’s Group,” and the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade – these are the most effective units in the use of drones. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, briefed me on the performance of all units at the front. We have clear and verified reports for every direction and every type of strike. We are ready to provide the relevant data to our partners. Essentially, Ukraine’s Defense and Security Forces have denied the occupier the ability to dictate the situation on the front line. Importantly, the results in the destruction of Russia’s air defense systems have also significantly increased, with 274 such systems hit in March alone. There have also been tangible results in the destruction of Russian depots and military logistics. The Ministry of Defense, together with the Armed Forces, will present a detailed report to the public for March – data that may be made public. I also approved with the Minister today a number of tasks for the coming weeks. In particular, we are preparing decisions to strengthen the Ukrainian infantry, the army contract system, and measures to address AWOL cases – measures that must genuinely work in practice.
