‘28 Chase Keyo RHP Team Boston 16U
Makes this athletic play to end the 5th. 5 innings 2 runs allowed. In a game with lots of dugout ra-ra, he has quietly pitched very well.
Just finished Not Just a Ghost Story. Great read! Middle school drama is real! Author Rick Tyson hits it out of the park with this one. It’s the second book in this series, the first is A Bit About Vivian. Add them to your list!
@MSWLMA
1990’s Hollywood, anyone? Author Christine Stringer’s newest novel is a new, can’t-be-missed series for a new adult audience. It hits stores in June 2025. Thank you for the ARC @netgalley and @gosparkpress. Opinions are my own.
Author Gordon Korman’s latest middle grade novel, Old School, is hysterical, playing into the stereotypes of old versus new. Thanks for the recommendation @colbysharp and @bookeliciousbooks!

Excited to receive an Honorable Mention in the #50PreciousWords contest for One Small Light. What an honor! Thank you @viviankirkfield and team for organizing this event and congrats to all of the participants. 50 words is harder than you think. Great way to start the week!
My local bookshop put @AdamGidwitz’s book, Max in the House of Spies, in my hands and said you have to read it. She was right! Plus, the sequel just came out. I’m heading back for more. Thanks for the recommendation!

I found a book with a fun, old-school vibe. Stacy DeKeyser’s How to Catch a Polar Bear takes place in 1948. It’s clever, amusing and great for 8-12 year olds who want to read about independent kids in the summer of ’48. Check it out!

A new MG novel hit the shelves this week. Author Andrea Beatriz Arango’s It’s All Or Nothing, Vale is an eye-opening story about learning who you are and what’s important. Thank you @netgalley and @randomhousekids for the ARC. Opinions are my own.

ALT Two years ago, Genny Anderson followed her divorced mom to California
after her friendship with Aiden Clark, on the cusp of more, fell apart.
Now that a class prank gone wrong has gotten her expelled,
Genny has no choice except to move back. If she wants to save her
dream of attending MIT, that is. To pay her old
school for the damages, Genny needs a job. As if working isn’t enough of a drag,
her dad sees this as the perfect opportunity to help Aiden plan the festival
for the town’s Centennial. Aiden, a photographer who traded in his camera
for a corporate internship, is not happy Genny hijacked his solo project.
They’ll have to deal since the festival is the key to secure enough funding
to push out greedy big developers who wish to turn the town into a typical
tourist trap. Bailing now means becoming pariahs.
