Siri AI requires a new search index on day 1, but indexing takes days. Apple’s solution: iOS and macOS 26.6 will index your device in advance, so that it is ready for 27.0 in the fall, according to @atpfm podcast: atp.fm/696 [8:36]

This is interesting. On Day 1 with Siri AI, I asked where do my sons go to school. Siri pulled a few simple iMessages to arrive at the wrong answer. On Day 3 with Siri AI, I asked the same where do my sons go to school question. Siri got it right by pulling voicemails and documents saved in Files. I assume the indexing process wasn't completed when Siri AI first became available?

A day later and I feel even more confident in this: Siri is going to be the AI that most consumers end up using most of the time (if they have an iPhone). It's the AI you have with you, with access to everything. And yes, it's finally good enough. spyglass.org/siri-ai/

Apple introduced App Intents in 2022, and then showed how they’d be foundational to app orchestration in 2024. After using Siri AI and iOS 27 for two days, it’s clear that many developers were not listening.
The App Intents querying technology they announced in 2024 didn’t scale to their AI capabilities then. They didn’t fully realize that until 2025, made deals in the second half of the year, and now you see 24 hours away from them announcing the new features they’ve been building. Their annual release cycle makes the effort they’ve put in asymmetrical to when it gets demoed and released to the public relative to competitors. Just a literal answer for the last two years, at least

x402 instantly expands the tools available to you and your agents. My @agentcashdev wallet is now at half the $25 I was granted. That’s significant API usage without signing up for a single provider. No keys, no subscriptions, no maintaining balances across accounts.

No, Claude. I do not want to switch to Claude Code. Cowork: 2 × usage limits until July 5 Fable: 2 × usage of Opus 4.8 until June 22 Fable in Cowork: free* *weekly usage limits still apply

Venture capital in Canada is very simple. We’ll back American companies swinging for the fences, watch them turn into monsters, then come home and treat a Canadian founder raising a normal seed round like they asked to buy NASA. Best we can do is $10K, 11 meetings, and a full exit strategy for a product that launched Tuesday.

SF Symbols are so hard to work with, even Apple makes mistakes.
The last two SF Symbols were internal and whoever printed them didn’t have access and they rendered as generic Unicode character.

DeepSWE is the first and only benchmark where the data matches the vibes. GPT is performant and efficient. Opus is expensive. Gemini is fast and cheap.
Opus 4.8 is now on DeepSWE. On the default high thinking effort, it scores 6% higher than Opus 4.7 xhigh, while also lowering average cost per task.

Buddy, I can barely keep up with 2026, let alone try to live in 2027.
Here’s your monthly reminder that you shouldn’t be prompting coding agents anymore. You should be designing loops that prompt your agents.

The first agent Apple has allowed over iMessage doesn’t (yet) support iCloud inboxes or calendars. Odd, right? I presume Apple will have more to share tomorrow — on agents within iMessage, access to iCloud, and iOS brokered access to data, app usage, and app intents.
Apple now allows “automated agents” within Messages for Business. Poke is the first approved AI agent: “Apple literally won’t let me text you here until I confess to being an ‘automated agent’ so yeah…”
