UPDATE !!!! Today my team (@Ms_highsociety and @surrealllle ) and I went to Murchison bay prison and it turns out we have many more prisoners than the ones we’ve been visiting . There’s about 40 or so detainees but we only managed to see about 5 due to the commotion. We also couldn’t see their faces clearly because of a wire mesh barrier between detainees and visitors.It was a small canteen like space. Most of the visitors end at Kampala remand to see the other 5 people as such the ones at Murchison bay who are the majority were left out. They lack food supplies and resources . What we took today can barely sustain them for two days. As such we request that whoever can may drop in and check on them or send through help. Please note that no meat is allowed, and only live chicken will be let in. Visiting days; Monday, Tuesday , Wednesday Thursday. 9am to 3pm for Murchison bay. It is also a men’s prison.
