The Emily’s Bloomin’ Youth Fund, a donor-advised fund (DAF), was established in 2015 at the Greater New Orleans Foundation by Emily Schoenbaum. Emily’s Bloomin’ Youth Fund’s mission is to provide outdoor, nature-centered programs to at-risk or disconnected youth, ages 10-18, in Orleans Parish. In the wake of the deadly attack on Bourbon street earlier this week, Pelicans star Zion Williamson is donating $100,000 to the Greater New Orleans Foundation’s Tragedy fund, telling ESPN: “As a father, son and someone who loves the community, this hit me hard. This isn't just about money —but standing together and making sure no one feels alone.”

New Orleans is a city defined by its vibrant spirit and unwavering sense of community. In the face of tragedy, we come together to lift one another up. At Abita, we’re proud to stand with our city.
