Sandra Andersen — Member of the Norwegian Parliament. She left behind a comfortable seat in parliament, a peaceful life, and prestige. In 2022, she came to Ukraine and joined the International Legion as a combat medic. Kyiv region. Mykolaiv. Donbas. Kherson. Under fire, in the mud, through relentless shelling, she saved the lives of Ukrainian soldiers. On the front line, she found more than a purpose. She met a Ukrainian marine known by the call sign “Jabari.” In 2024, they got married. In 2025, their son was born. Ukraine gave her everything: purpose, love, and a new family. Sandra, you are living proof that true heroes do not sit in comfortable offices — they wear body armor bearing the Ukrainian trident. Eternal respect and deepest gratitude from the Ukrainian people.

Today at the airport, I witnessed a scene I will never forget. The man's name was Daniel. He was holding his dog, Bruno, in his arms, tears welling up in his eyes.
He was moving overseas, but Bruno could not be put in the cargo hold for health reasons.
Daniel pleaded with the staff, I absolutely cannot leave him behind. The crew then made space for him inside the plane.
Bruno didn't bark or make a fuss even once; he just sat there quietly. He
seemed to know he was safe, and everyone around him was touched by his composure. When the plane landed, Daniel whispered softly,
We made it together, Bruno. Even now, my heart warms whenever I remember that moment

Yesterday, Mark Fedorov passed away — a Ukrainian serviceman who became a symbol of an incredible fight for life after suffering a devastating combat injury and undergoing more than 80 surgeries. His life story was not an easy one. Mark had previously spent time in prison. But when Russia launched its full-scale invasion in 2022, he volunteered to defend Ukraine. Despite numerous difficulties and bureaucratic obstacles, he never abandoned that decision. Eventually, Mark joined the 501st Marine Battalion. There, he not only mastered military skills but also trained as a combat medic, learning how to save the lives of his fellow soldiers. He fought in the Kharkiv region, took part in combat operations, and served on some of the most difficult sections of the front. During fighting in the Kursk direction, Mark suffered an extremely severe wound. His internal organs were critically damaged, and he faced serious complications. Doctors gave little reason for hope. But he refused to give up. While the medical team fought for his life, Mark fought alongside them. One surgery. Then another. And another. In total, he underwent more than 80 operations. Months of hospitals, rehabilitation, and pain that is difficult even to imagine. Yet Mark endured. After dozens of surgeries and an exhausting recovery, he returned to life and began making plans for the future. Following treatment, Mark wanted to engage in public service, help veterans, and show through his own example that a person can change their life no matter how difficult their past may have been. Even after his severe injury and countless surgeries, he continued to face new challenges. His father publicly fought to protect his son's rights during treatment and rehabilitation. Through it all, Mark never lost faith and continued planning for the future. He often spoke about faith, prayer, and hope. About how even in the darkest moments, a person must not lose their humanity or their sense of purpose. Yesterday, his heart stopped beating. The story of Mark Fedorov is not only a story of war. It is a story of a second chance. The story of a man who had a difficult past but consciously chose to defend Ukraine during the country's darkest hour. A reminder that a person's past does not always define them. Sometimes, it is their actions that do. Mark Fedorov gave his life for the freedom of Ukraine. Eternal memory. Deepest condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. 🇺🇦🕯️

Unfortunately, the Russian side once again chooses war – everyone heard the response today. Weak response. He simply does not want to end the war. I think many around the world were disappointed by that response. He does not want to change anything, and he does not want to admit that this war appeals only to him – and to those who are making money off him. They were all smiling very broadly today. That means Russia must have less money, and there must be more pressure on Russia. I thank everyone who is helping us. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine and wants a real peace.

A mother dog, separated from her puppies due to her owner's negligence, ended up in a shelter. Traumatized, she refused to leave the corner of her room even at the shelter. A woman from a rescue organization, who was contacted, found her puppies, reuniting the family. The mother dog placed her puppies on the woman's lap in gratitude…

To everyone fighting for Ukraine in the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – thank you for your service to our state, for your extraordinary courage, and for the strong results you deliver every day! The Special Operations Forces have gone through all the battles of this war that were the most difficult, the most brutal, and the most important for Ukraine. Together with the Security Service of Ukraine, the Unmanned Systems Forces, our missile units, and our intelligence agencies, they also carry out missions in the area of our long-range sanctions against Russia for this war. The Special Operations Forces are also involved in the resistance in our temporarily occupied territory. Thank you for organizing such special operations, for supporting the resistance, and for creating exactly the kind of problems the occupier deserves. And we always remember the price Ukraine pays to defend its independence, its territory, and its life. We honor the memory of the fallen warriors of the Special Operations Forces and all our Ukrainian heroes who gave their lives so that Ukraine may live.

We are working with all our partners on air defense for Ukraine – this is the first priority. Anti-ballistic capabilities are now in short supply globally because of the war with Iran, but we must look for solutions. We are trying to accelerate work in Europe on producing our own anti-ballistic capabilities on the continent in sufficient quantities. We will also continue engaging with the United States regarding its ability to support Ukraine. The PURL program is working, and we are grateful for that. Europe is helping us financially. But strong leadership from the United States in expanding anti-ballistic production is also urgently needed.
