Just had our lunch out ruined by a toddler persistently shrieking because an adult at his table was continually poking him with a cuddly toy and thinking it was funny. It was her fault he was shrieking but she was oblivious to everyone else’s discomfort.

I may as well give up on Twitter because just about everything now is AI. You can’t believe anything any more. It’s spoiled everything.

Lots of my cacti are covered in flower buds, but we’ll be away in early May and the blooms are very short lived so I expect we’ll miss most of them.

I keep a list of every book I read and I’ve just calculated that I read an average of 57 books a year.
